To the families of Pat,
My sympathy to each of you. Pat was my student in Ag at GHS. He lived in Laytonsville and was required to have an "ag Project " to be in Ag class. He purchased a heifer calf and raised it at the ED Fry farm in Laytonsville . If my memory is correct ,Pat was the President of the FFA one year. I do know that Pat was on the winning dairy cattle judging team in Maryland and then on to the Eastern States Expo in Springfield ,MA.The team won there also.
I have missed him from the day that he moved to the E.Shore, but was proud that he became a farm owner and then into real estate sales.
I am sorry that we had never crossed paths in the past years.
To you Jimmy and to Judy,I remember the special relationship I had with your parents and you.

I will be missing another of my past FFA
boys. James Pope retired Ag Teacher
