She was such a joy to be around. We spent many Saturdays laughing at the British show Keeping Up Appearances, and watching Lawrence Welk. It was an honor caring for her. She loved hearing weekly stories of my students. We shared a love of Christ and prayed together as her health changed. Carmen also loved dogs and visits from Niko and Sable, her granddogs. It didnt feel like work but spending time with a grandparent. She shared the same birth date as one of my grandsons, 80 years apart. A few years ago Carmen joined Matthew for his 4th birthday. She was very proud of all her grown children and had a special place in her heart for Father Marcel. Many hours of playing cards and listening to country music. There is not enough word to express the love I will always have for Carmen. Our loss is heaven's gain. Prayers especially for Mary, Marcel and Joe. May your memories in time bring you tears of joy and peace Love, in Christ Lori.
