I met Mr. Albright a few times at DGC, I am also a member. I am sorry I did not to get to know him better. He was always a real gentlemen. Fellow members who had introduced me to Bill had such great things to say about Bill. I read the other messages below and was truly moved by the legacy he left behind.

Cindy, My deepest condolences on the loss of your dad.
Bill was a special guy and I enjoyed his friendship for almost 50 years....I did caddie for Bill back in the late 60's and early 70's and then had the great fortune of becoming a member at DGC and play a lot of golf with Bill...a true gentlemen in every way and I will miss his quick wit and smiling face.

Cindy and Susan, so sorry to hear of your loss. Bill was the single most important influence in my life. I had the great fortune of assuming control of a sales company of which Bill was an employee. The first move I made was to name him General Manager, knowing full well I should have been reporting to him. I was 32 and Bill was 55, and had already owned, operated and sold Triangle Electric. He was the sharpest, wisest, most talented person I ever met. I think of him everyday. Nearly every time I play golf, I end up telling a Bill Albright story. He taught me so many things about life, golf, and business I can't begin to count them. He preached and lived treat others as you would want to be treated'. His lasting legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren..
