Dear Family,

As the former Retirement Manager for Macomb County, I worked with Dr. Johnson on the Macomb County Employees Retirement Commission.

Pat's wife took me under her wing at MAPERS (Michigan Assn. of Public Employee Retirement Systems) conferences because very few women attended in the mid-80s. 30 years ago, retirement was very much a mans world. I remember she dressed beautifully. She was also very protective of me. :) We went out to dinner and did the MAPERS parties together! Pat said little, his wife kept me chatting! Fun Times.

Memories!

Sending healing prayers to the family.
Pat will surely be missed!

Pat and Diane were very good friends of ours for over sixty years. We met at St Margaret's as young couples in CCD. We had a lot of good
times together and they will be missed by us.

To The Family Of Patrick J. Johnson: Believe it or not, "MR. JOHNSON" was my 6th grade teacher at Lakewood Elementary School, in S.C.S., for the 1955-1956, school year. That would have been at the very beginning of his educational career. He certainly made an impression on me since I never forgot him and I am nearly (72) years old! No wonder I turned out as good as I did, I had GREAT PARENTS and MR. JOHNSON as role models!

Our family used to go camping with the Johnson family. Spent many evenings around the fire with him even when they came and joined us up in Canada. As a young boy, I always admired Mr. Johnson's stoic, gentle kind Ways. He didn't speak much but when he did it was profound and filled with deep thought. I can only imagine the positive impact he had on the many students and people he interacted with.

Fond memories of a wonderful man father and contributor to a better society.

Our family has nothing but great respect and admiration and grateful for the time we got to spend with you all
