Truman Russell Blevins
Howell - Truman Russell Blevins, age 79, of Howell, passed away at home surrounded by his family Friday afternoon February 9, 2018. He was born on July 24, 1938 in Virginia Lee, Virginia the son of Jack and Hazel Belle (Snowden) Blevins. He was married for 59 years to Mary Louise (Marlow) Blevins. She preceded him in death on May 24, 2017. Truman and Mary were longtime Howell residents. He was employed as a Tool and Die maker and was a talented craftsman, creating stone fireplaces and making things from wood like furniture and jewelry boxes. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his children; Darlene Sutfin, Terry (Hanako) Blevins, Gary (Nicole) Blevins, Jerry Blevins, Lisa (Edward) Carrico and Aimee (Jordan) Philipp. 15 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 7 brothers and sisters also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday February 15, 2018 at the Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton. Interment will follow at Sharp Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 14, 2018 from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M.
Memorial contributions in Truman's name are suggested to Livingston Senior Nutrition (Meals on Wheels), The Humane Society of Livingston County or The American Heart Association. Envelopes are available from the Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton.

Sorry to hear of Truman's passing, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope. In the days to come may you find comfort in that hope.
