I have some good memories working with Dick the whole time he worked at The Henry Ford...He shared many an interesting tale about his compound in the U.P., hunting, fishing and his hunting dogs (much loved companions). He shared his childhood adventures and Chillicothe and his love of dancing with Pat! My son worked at THF as a teen and college kid, and Dick happily shared hunting and fishing stories with Gordon...and listened to the kid tell him his own adventures. For me and my colleagues in Creative Services, we will never forget his comings and goings as he would call out GO BUCKS!...down the hal!! You are missed, Dick.
Cheers Buddy, Cheryl

Jennie and Mark, Im so sorry for the loss of your father. You are in our thoughts during this difficult time. He was clearly a wonderful father since you two turned out to be so lovely.

There is a quote by Marion Garretty that says "A cousin is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost." I saw the essence of two little boys every time my father and Dick were together -well in to their 80s. Every New Years I put out a note they wrote as the clock struck midnight, 1936. Your Dad was the best sort of guy! Please be sure to let us know when plans for Chillicothe are in place. With sympathy and affection.
