ANCELL, DR. ROBERT B. Beloved husband of Judy Ancell. Dear father of Beth (David) Fienman and Michael David Sasson. Loving grandfather of Liam, Drew, Jonisha and Sequari. Devoted brother-in-law of Jack (Arlene) Schultz, David (the late Elaine) Steinhardt and the late Carol Greenwald. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. PRIVATE GRAVESIDE SERVICES THURSDAY AT THE ADAT SHALOM MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY IN LIVONIA.

Dr. Ancell was a very sweet man, always personable and kind. I was always happy when I knew I would be working with him, as he was never difficult and always a complete professional. He will be missed. Thinking of his family and loved ones, and praying for you all.

I remember the first time I met Uncle Bob. I was 8 years old. My brother and I were at their Oak Park house. He made a football/ soccer ball out of old socks, got on his hands and knees in the living room and was the goalie as Rob and I took shots and tried to hit the couch with the socks. As I got older, he was always one to talk to about law, lawyers, and politics. He usually listened a lot more than he spoke. But his comments were always spot on. Very funny dry wit. Good judge of character. He was always supportive and encouraging. He will be missed.
