I'm sad to hear this, and offer my sympathy to the Anderson family.

Mr. Anderson not only taught me mathematics at Denby High, but gave this 14-yr old his first flight lesson (and many more) at 3BB. Ten thousand plus hours later I still remember his expert advice, incredible patience, and witty humor. (What's a tangent? - an old man in Florida; A secant? - what a backwards blindman says...)

I can only pay Russ forward, and have tried to do that over the years where I can. I will miss him.

You have my sincere sympathy for the loss of your dear loved one. When Jesus was on the earth he promised to resurrect our loved ones that have fallen asleep in death under peaceful conditions without sickness and death.

Sincere condolences to the Anderson family. I taught at Kettering High School Foreign Language Department) during years when Mr. Anderson was a Department Head and teacher of mathematics. He was a great guy and an exemplary teacher. God bless you all.
