I first met Dr. Pitzer at his office on Martin Rd. in Warren. He was so kind, thorough and pleasant that I followed him to wherever he had an office. I always enjoyed my visits as we discussed his golf game, his handicap, his two little white dogs, his trips to FL to see his grandchildren AND play golf and his children's activities since my last visit. He was the best podiatrist I have ever encountered and I will sadly miss him. I know God is enjoying his presence now.

we saw dr. pitzer after he took over dr. pupp's practice many years ago. i have thought about him so many times thru the years. seeing he has passed has brought great sadness to me. i remember getting bitten accidentily by my dog and a red line going up my leg. went to see him. wanted me to go in hospital but i said no. 4th of july weekend. he traveled to n.y. ,this angel called me twice to make sure things were going ok! who does that anymore but him. he wil be greatly missed. we shared stories of rachel and sean when they were young kids as well as we did ours to him... God bless each of you and bring you comfort in your cherished memories of him that willast a life time... <3

I am stunned and saddened to hear the news of Steve's passing. It is a painful reminder that we should treasure every moment and every person who has made a difference in our lives. Steve and I were close friends for over a decade. I felt a part of his New York family and my family embraced him with open arms. Despite losing contact so long ago, he has remained a fiber in the fabric of my life. I cherish my memories and have always envisioned a time when we would get together to reminisce. He was a generous, warm, loving, gentle and genuine man whose spirit will live with me forever. Sean and Rachel, I am so sorry for your loss. Carin, although we have never met, you will be in my thoughts. Warren, i can't imagine your pain. I would love to reconnect with you. My sister and parents send their condolences. I am so sorry to miss the memorial/celebration of his life.

I was a client of Dr. Pitzer for most of his 37 years; saw him in May.
What a shock to find that he had passed.
I affectionately called him 'Dr. Pitzer the foot fixer.'
Condolences to the family. Sorry I am unable to attend the memorial.
