Not sure what to say?

It's been 5 years and it seems an eternity. I miss your jokes and phone calls. What I wouldn't give for just one more 6:30am call on my day off! You are missed each day. Give mom a hug for me.

Charlotte and Deanna, when I told my husband Steve, about the passing of your dad, he wanted to be sure I sent condolences directly from him. Charlotte, I don't know if you remember that I told you, but Steve worked under your dad at Engine 10/ladder 4 in the mid 1980s. Steve says your dad was a wonderful Sergeant (at that time) and person. He will always remember how your dad loved his Thunderbirds. Your dad was one of the best!

Charlotte, you know there is no profession closer to my heart than the heroes of the Detroit Fire Dept.! I will keep you and your sister in prayer at this difficult time, as I know your heart is sad, but I cannot help envision your mom and dad smiling, together again. Love lasts forever.

Charlotte, I will be praying for both you and your sister during this difficult time. I have to tell you, I got a kick out of reading your posts on facebook of all of your Dads' antics. It really showed that you truly loved your Dad. In times such as this, grab hold of the wonderful memories that you have of not just your Dad, but your Mom as well.

Charlotte,Deanna,Danny, Benjamin and Catherine, prayers are with you!
Your Dad a nd Granpa was a wonderful man. He gave all of you love and guidance and all with a great sense of humor! His dedication to you and his Fire Department made him a good example of perseverance.
I am glad he played a part in my life too. He introduced me to my ex husband and father of my children. He will be missed by my family too.
Love you all and please call me if you need anything. Lynn
