Patricia Burrello Obituary

Patricia Joyce (Henderson) Burrello arrived in Frankfort, Indiana shortly before Thanksgiving 1943. On November 13, she was received by Grace and Chet Henderson.

Patricia was also welcomed by her brother Lee Henderson. Patricia came to know Jesus at a young age. She would routinely walk with her good friend Patricia to Sunday school, where she was later baptized at the age of 11.

In 1962 Patricia graduated from Old Stoney. She frequently spent her time at the TPA skating rink and cruising the town square. As an adult Pat resided in Indianapolis, where she raised her son Mathew Gill. She was known for picking up truckloads of neighborhood kids to go sledding or skating. This tradition would continue as Pat had grandchildren. On Sunday morning she would fill up the minivan on the way to worship. As Pats stewardship grew Patches was born. Her clowning brought joy to numerous children and adults.

Pat held secretarial positions at UNAC and Madden and Company. Pat formed friendships with coworkers and patrons alike in her retirement years employed at Joann Fabric. As a result, her gnome collection flourished. Pat cherished her later years of worship at Crossroads Baptist Church.

On Sunday June 29, 2025 Pat was reunited with her family. Parents Grace and Chet Henderson, brother Lee Henderson (Arlene) nephew Keith Henderson (Carol) She will be deeply missed by her son Mathew (Amy) Gill, grandchildren Shelby Hogue, Nickolas Gill and Jacob Gill, niece Debbi Henderson.

Pat generously donated her body to the Atomical Education Program at Indiana University School of Medicine. This gift will further advancements in medical research, development and education. A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date to honor the memory of Pat. In memory of Pat, donations may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church https://cbcindy.com/ Your donation will directly support Church Camp and the Bus Ministry.
