Nora Elaine Alexander
Rainbow City - Funeral services will be Sunday, February 28th, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at Collier-Butler Chapel for Nora Elaine Alexander, 85, of Rainbow City, who passed away Friday, February 26th, 2021. Rev. Shane Pate and Rev. Sylvester Smith will officiate. Interment will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.
Nora was a member of the Gadsden Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed working in her flowerbeds, going to the beach as often as she could, or just sitting on her bench taking in the river view. But most of all she will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
Preceding her in death are her parents, J.C. and Agatha Hart; and granddaughter, Sonya Ogles.
She is survived by her husband, Morris Alexander; children, Keith (Brenda) Alexander, Sharon (Joey) Ogles, Caren (Glenn) Talley, Lisa Johnson; brother, Larry (Brenda) Hart; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Amanda Willut and staff of Ladiga Health & Rehab.
The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
