I had the honor of working with him at Hawthorne HS. He was akways smiling. Such a good role model for his students and the players were all like family to him. I was there for the 1987 state championship. Such an awesome accomplishment for him and the team. Peace and comfort fir his wife and family..

Coach, what an amazing man. I was never his student, but because my sister was. That meant nothing though- we had a great relationship. I could stop by his classroom for a talk, to eat lunch, or just hide away. He was an asset in my life. I have always felt Blessed to have known him.
Love you, Coach! Prayers for Mrs. Jean and family.

Coach Woods was one of my favs! I had him for biology, but cheered for him and his boys on the courts all through school. Wonderful person inside and out. Prayers to the entire Woods family.
