Ben went home to be with the Lord this past Saturday morning. Benjamin was born in Fort Sill, Okla., to Chandler and Linda Brown. Ben last worked at the University of North Georgia and prior to that, he taught computer and technical courses for the Continuing Education Departments of North Georgia Technical College and Lanier Technical College, plus numerous companies throughout Georgia.

Ben was a very active member of Saint Luke's Catholic Church; teaching sixth grade classes, being a cantor and past Vice President of the Saint Luke's Men's Club. He also was a cantor for the Christ Redeemer Catholic Church in Dawsonville and a charter member of their Knights of Columbus Council.

Benjamin is survived by his parents Chandler and Linda Brown; brother and sister-in-law Matthew and Amy Brown; nephew Alexander and nieces Mabry and Alorah Brown; sisters Katherine and Anna Brown, all of Dahlonega, Ga. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 26, at Saint Luke's Catholic Church.
