Jennie D. Pezzulla

1928 - 2025

Jennie D. Pezzulla, 97, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, at Mt. Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

Jennie is survived by a sister, Marie Biddle, of Idaho, and a brother, Leo Pezzulla, of Morrisdale. Many nieces and nephews also survived her.

Her sisters, Ermina Pollock, Josephine Pezzulla, Frances Beightol, Veronica James, Judy Valery, and a brother, Joseph Pezzulla, preceded her in death. Jennie is also predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Gertrude Pezzulla (Coudriet).

Jennie was born in Tyler, PA, on February 4, 1928, and later moved to Morrisdale, PA. She and her sister Josephine lived in their family home until recently.

Those who knew Jennie will remember her love of the holidays, and decorating the house was an important tradition, especially at Christmas.

Many fond memories were created at the Pezzulla house, and Jennie's gentle, good-natured personality was always present.

Faith was important in her life, and she took an active role as a member of St. Agnes Church in Morrisdale.

When Jennie was young, she and several of her sisters worked a summer in the Connecticut tobacco fields. She retired from The Stackpole Corp. in St. Marys after over 30 years.

Jennie's interests ranged from making her clothes on a traditional treadle sewing machine to the jewelry she always wore. She occasionally liked to travel to a casino with family members.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 PM with Deacon Dennis Socash officiating.

She will be laid to rest in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Morrisdale.
