Col Yoos was an amazing officer and instructor, both patient and kind. At the end of my four years at USAFA, he is one of only two instructors worth remembering. I am sorry for your loss, and sorry I didn't take the chance to let him know what an impact he has had on my Air Force career.

Chuck was a wonderful mentor and friend to me @ Fort Lewis College. I will never forget his encouragement and kindness. He inspired me to become a better professor and person. Love to Linda and their kids.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Yoos during my time at FLC. Not only was he a brilliant mind with a knack for making tough concepts understandable, but he had a warmth about him that you don't find in many. He truly cared about his students and was always with a smile. My sincerest condolences to the Yoos family.

Dr. Yoos made such an impression on me and probably forever altered the course of my life through the rich conversation about business and life that he offered in his class. I am very sad to hear of his passing but but know that he was just that type of person to impact people where-ever he went. I'm thankful to have crossed paths with him at FLC.

In 1986, Chuck was the one who really mentored me in the area of Organizational Theory. He challenged me and motivated me toward an academic career.

Back in the 1990's Chuck agreed to join me in the establishment of the Children's Museum here in Colorado Springs. He had such a kindness about him. He was very generous in spirit and had the ideas and creativity and the willingness to figure out ways to excite the kids with exhibits made by the Cadets from the Air Force Academy. What joy he brought to all of us. He will be remembered always with love. May our Lord and Savior bring you all peace.
