Jimmie and Brittany,
I was pretty close to Donna for several years as a next door neighbor and friend in Ohio. It was quite a shock to learn of her passing several months after the fact. I have not been able to find any words to say to you, but I did want to tell you something before this book is unavailable. I'm just so sorry, and I loved her a lot. I think she made me a better person for having known her. And I'm sure she is somewhere spreading her sunshine and we will see her again. I regret not staying in touch. I am truly without words for your loss, and I send my regards and I care about both of you. Even through the years of distance I have not forgotten a single of minute of all the good times we shared!
Much love and respect,
Debbie Johnson

To Diana and Family,
I know it has been a very long time since we have spoken and even longer since I have seen Donna. I just wanted you to know that you and your family are in our prayers and that we love you very much. God works in mysterious ways and sometimes it is hard to see the reason in why things happen the way that they do but I ask that you remember 2 things during this trying time. God will "never" give you more than you can handle. Although it may seem like he has put a lot on your plate, I promise you that he is watching over you and knows what you are capable of. Secondly, God has chosen this beautiful Angel (Donna) to bring home to him and to use her in ways that were not possible here with us. We will see her again some day soon and all be together in his kingdom.

Diana, I love you and miss you very much and your sister was loved by a lot of people. She was a wonderful sister, daughter, wife, and friend and whe will be missed.

Our prayers are with you and your family and if you need anything, please do not hesitate to call me.

Love, Dwayne, Cheri, and David

An Angel came into my life in the summer of '86 and showed me the true meaning of unconditional love. Donna taught that to every person she touched. There are no words to express the heartbreak that I have and the sadness I feel for your family's loss. Donna will always be with me in thought and all of her family in my prayers.

Col. Schuman: I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Donna's untimely passing. I only learned of it recently. I know there are no explanations capable of dissuading you and Brittany from the pain and grief of her loss. But I hope you and Brittany will find comfort with each other. Donna was always kind, gentle, and outgoing. Please accept my deepest condolences. I know her spirit will remain with us and you, always. One of her lasting tributes is that she was welcoming to all, and fostered that ideal in all that knew her. I hope her memory can rekindle in all of us the desire to enjoy life to its' fullest; to celebrate in each other, and share hope with those in need. Know that Kathy and my prayers are with you and Brittany. With Love in Christ, John and Kathy Duval

Let us extend to you and your family our condolences for the loss of your lovely soul mate. We know that this void will never be filled but time will relieve the grief; and that you will sometimes only want to cry. We cannot offer explanations of why things happen or why it seems the good die young and the scoundrels live forever. We do pray that God will grant you the strength to deal with your loss, peace to soothe your soul and comfort to relieve your mind from the traumatic experience of losing Donna.

God's Blessings to You and your extended family!

To the Schuman family, our hearts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. In our hearts, we may ask the difficult question: Why is someone so loving; someone so full of energy, and kindness like Donna is taken away from us so suddenly? Yet, this answer I hope will bring you comfort---while there is no question you loved Donna; God loved her more! My sincere condolencies,
