Uncle Ed always seemed larger than life with his boots and ten gallon hat. Over the years his coming home in his huge Allegro (learned quickly it was an insult to call it a Wenabego) was always exciting. My fondest memories were the huge gatherings with all the family. Once after bringing two Coconut Creme Pies to the gathering, I found one missing. He laughed and said , " I put one in his Allegro for later. You brought two". I will greatly miss him.

Uncle Ed was my favorite person to watch and talk baseball with. He knew the game so well. I always couldn't wait for him to come home so we could watch baseball together. You will forever be missed Uncle Ed!!!

Our Knuckel Ed as we called him as children will be missed. Although he was from Georgia he certainly embraced Texas as home. When he came to visit he had on his cowboy boots and hat.

Ed is the last member of my mom's (his younger sister's) family. I have many fond memories of his visits to Georgia. He will be missed!
