Earlene was a sweet loving woman. She was fun to be around and was always ready to help. We worked together on several projects for church. She loved the young people and opened her home to them and in return they loved her. She could turn any situation that was not going well into a joke and you realized that it didn't really mattered, the friendship of others mattered more. I loved her and am happy she is at peace. My thoughts and prayers reach out to the family that they too will find peace in their memories of Earlene. I cannot think of her without a smile crossing my lips. She was indeed one of a kind.

Earlene became one of my very dearest friends, in the years we worked together @ GTE. We shared many laughs & fun times together, love her dearly!
My thoughts & prayers are with her sweet family in this time of sorrow! God Bless you all!

Susie & Butch, I often saw your mom at the Care Center in Robert Lee when visiting there. She always came to the Sunday services. I knew her through Lana. Earlene knew that she knew me from somewhere, but often thought that I was someone from her family. We would visit and I usually would get her a cup of coffee before I left. She did love her coffee. I know the employees of the care center loved and enjoyed her. She will be missed.
