Rice-Persinger, Ann 11/24/1951 - 7/20/2020 Tampa It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Rice – Persinger on July 20th of 2020 at Advent Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Ann was born November 24th, 1951. She spent her teen years in Reed City, MI where she graduated from Highschool in 1969. Ann was an active member of the debate team and choir, both things of which she loved. After leaving Reed City, she got a job at Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan in 1975. Ann worked hard and moved up from a Field Rep to Union President of Local 2145. Before going to what she called "the dark side" and retired as a Human Resources Rep in 2007. She met the "love of her life" Charlie Persinger in Washington D.C, 1986. On May 29th, 1994 they married in Lake Tahoe, CA. Together they moved to Littlefield, AZ after retirement where they enjoyed many different activities in the desert and traveling across America. Following her husband's death in 2014, Ann moved back to Michigan and was a proud Grand Mother and Mother. She was always doing whatever it took to make sure everyone was taking care of. Ann was known to many as a mother, she was always kind, compassionate and willing to give you a room and meal to eat if you needed one. Her laugh was intoxicating to most, always ready to crack a joke or put a smile on your face with encouraging words. Not to mention she gave the warmest hugs in the room. Ann finally found love again with Kim Williams in Tampa, FL 2017. She enjoyed many things which she has never seen with Kim in Florida. Ann lived with Kim during the time of her passing. Memorial Services will be announced at a later time due to the states restrictions. She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Rice. Significant Other; Kim Williams.
