Vasilnek, Carol Carol Irene Vasilnek (Klompstra), age 85 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Monday January 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, and three sons Ken, John and infant son Jason, and her sisters Mary and Ann. Surviving are: her children Mary (Dennis) VanHeck, Kathleen (Bob) Powers, Irene (Ted) Command and Chuck (Rebecca) Klompstra; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Alice and Margaret; and her brother Tom. Carol loved reading, puzzles and her animals. Most importantly, she loved her family. Per her wish, cremation has taken place. Due to COVID, there are no services at this time.

Dear Klompstra Family we are so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. We always think of your family with the kindest of thought. We have great memories of the great friends you were and how much fun we had over the years. Though we have not been close in the last years we still think of you all with fond memories and lots of love.
