Malinzak family, I am saddened to hear of Ed's passing. My family, Mike, Mavis, Matt and Mindy Schalk, shared the first week of July with your family in Traverse City at Stoeckle's Silver Shores Resort over 30 years ago. I remember Ed wearing plaid shorts and talking golf around the nightly bonfire.

Dear Malinzak Family,

I remember Ed fondly from my days as a lawyer with Warner, Norcross and Judd. He along with another lawyer interviewed me for my first job out of law school. His easy manner, quick laughter, and winning smile put me at ease immediately. In the office he was always supportive and gave me the opportunity to handle my first trial. He was a devoted family man always getting to the office very early, so he could be home with the kids when they came home from school. He often talked about his wife, Cheryl, and their children. I still can hear him bragging about Cheryl's delicious banana bread! He was a dear and kind man. May he rest in the arms of Eternal Love.

Dear Cheryl and family,
I send my deepest sympathy, love and prayers.
My heart is sad to hear of Ed's passing.
In God's hands now, May he shine in Heaven as he did here on earth.

To Cheryl, Suze and Doobie. and the family, I didn't know Eddie very long, but it was a delight to see him at Mill Creek. His laughter and terrific disposition was so prevalent in all his conversations. My heart goes out to you and know I'm thinking of you in prayer and warm thoughts. And lots of hugs! XOXO. .
