My heartfelt love and sympathies to Ginger. John spoke to me often, admiringly and lovingly about you. He said he finally got it right. I couldn't agree more.
I'm grateful for the friendship I had with John since English class Freshman year of high school, 1975. He made me smile. He was a constant and supportive friend. He was my birthday buddy, having been born one day after me. He made himself available in times I was suffering great personal loss. I can only hope I was as good a friend to him.
I will never forget you John.

John was the brother of my dear friend, Ann. I am reminded of how short, dear, and precious life is with the passing of John at the age of 58 years. I am glad to have had the opportunity to meet John, a man with many talents.

Ann, Ginger and the entire Westerman Family,

My words are not adequate to express the sorrow I feel for your loss. Our families grew up together. Several years ago, I reconnected with John on Facebook. We chatted about our younger years and our families. I will miss chatting with him.

John will always be in your heart! It is the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you will remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. Even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.

Heartfelt condolences,
