I had the pleasure of meeting Joe many years ago through my son who also worked at UPS. For some reason Joe took a liking to my husband and me, and called our house almost every Saturday for about 2 years. I enjoyed our conversations which mostly revolved around ND, Lou Holtz, and family. He even sent us a pic of himself with his mom and Lou at ND--which we still have. The calls stopped after he got married and bought a house, but, I remember him fondly. Our hearts and prayers go out to his dad/family. May your loss be heaven's gain.

I am saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I lost touch after high school when i moved away. I fondly remember ours days at IHM and CC. Whether on the court or the field or serving Mass together, he always participated with passion and integrity. God speed my friend! My deepest sympathies to Mr. Hensell and his aunt and uncle.

We have known Jack, Beth and Joe for many years, through IHM and Catholic Central. Our hearts are saddened to hear of his death at such a young age. May Jack find comfort in knowing that now Beth and Joe together enjoy seeing God face to face, and await him there when his journey on earth ends. Our heartfelt sympathy, Mary and Bill Passinault and family

I was very sorry to learn of Joe's passing. We were close friends throughout elementary and high school, spending lots of time playing driveway basketball and talking sports. Although we lost touch after I moved away, I've often thought about him. I'll always remember his kindness and humor. Rest in peace old friend. My deepest condolences to his father and other loved ones.
