Pattison, Michael 9/10/1941 - 4/8/2021 Lexington, South Carolina Michael Lee Pattison, 79, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021 at the Lexington (SC) Community Hospice House after a lengthy and courageous fight. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan but grew up in Racine, Wisconsin where he attended and graduated from Washington Park High School in 1959. He later met and married Margaret Lynn Pattison in San Diego, California on April 14, 1962 and they remained married until her death on December 11, 2011. During this time, they relocated to Grand Rapids, Michigan where he worked and put himself through college. He was a member of the second graduating class of Grand Valley State College. Through his hard work and determination, he elevated himself to Vice President of Finance for Sysco Foods. He was extremely proud of the company he represented and his many professional accomplishments. Michael was an extremely caring, fun loving and charismatic person. He loved to read, play golf and was an absolute sports fanatic. His favorite place on this earth was Mountain Beach in West Olive, Michigan where he experienced countless joyous moments and lasting memories. He was preceded in death by his wife (Margaret Lynn Pattison). He is survived by his son Michael (Molly) Pattison of Denver, Colorado along with his three (3) grandchildren that he absolutely adored (Kate, Christopher and Emma). Further, he is survived by his dear friend and companion, Kay Fowler of Lexington, South Carolina. Mike-
Your folks were both so kind to me. Friendly and encouraging. There for us in the neighborhood, and at sporting events. Loved our vacations together, pizza nights out, etc.
I enjoyed Monte’s reference to the sporting in your yard and driveway! I recall us racing bikes around the block, and flipping my 10 speed right in front of Mike and Marge.
Much love,to you and yours. Pete

So many warm memories of the Pattison’s during countless hours of front yard football, driveway basketball, and Atari in the den with Mike. Mr. Pattison had a wonderful smile and warm personality that made an impression on me even in elementary and middle school. Thinking of you Mike, Molly and family.

WHAT A SHOCK! Mike was a friend and customer of mine. We're had many conversations about many different topics. There aren't many of him left. I'm sorry I didn't know his health was declining. He will be miffed greatly. Floyd Holmes.
