Rachael was a long time volunteer at the Kent Co Sheriff's Mounted Unit barn. She and Isabel spent countless hours keeping the boys well fed and groomed. Rachael was also very quick to offer up to clean blankets, sew them up or whatever else needed to be done for the houses and around the barn.
When the weather was really bad a couple winters ago, the boys had to be inside and she was quick to offer up to come in and spend time with them and let them have some supervised fun in the indoor arena.
She was a great friend to the horses and a great support to the Mounted Unit.

The world has lost a ray of sunshine. Rachel could walk into any room and flash that beautiful smile and you would instantly feel better. She had the best hugs and was genuine about generous with them. I loved the way her eyes twinkled when we was planning an adventure or being mischievous. But most of all Rachel, you were an amazing Mom to your daughters. You raised amazing young ladies who knew without a doubt that you would go to the ends of the earth and back for them. I feel so blessed to have had the HONOR of having you in my and my family's life, and in our Girl Scout family. I will miss you my friend.

Rachael was a great friend and I will always carry her close to my heart. She was always up for a new adventure no matter how crazy or silly it seemed. She was the person to call with your crazy ideas and the first person to show up with the supplies to make it happen. Her smile and sense of humor was infectious and she always knew how to cheer you up when you were feeling down. She will be greatly missed.

Rachael was a true shining bright light amongst us. She was always happy and bubbly and most of all friendly to everyone. I will never forget her and her craftiness. She was always doing some craft or another. She will be greatly missed and it will be very lonely at Blue Cross Blue Shield without her. My heart goes out to her family.
