We are so grateful that we got to know Scot and his family. He was our son's soccer coach, friend, and mentor for many years.
Scot was more than a soccer coach. He was also a life skills coach. He encouraged respect amongst his players, taught them to play a fair and honest game, and promoted self confidence in each young man. He showed sincere interest in each boy and even kept in touch with some after they "aged out" of the program.
I'll never forget his kindness when he came to visit our son, Jackson when he was in the hospital.
Scot led by example. He was a good man. He will be missed.

Thank you, for the privilege of caring for Scot. He was a very sweet man who had great stories and loved his wife and family deeply. I enjoyed serving him the short time he was with us at Pilgrim Manor.
Scot will be missed by residents and staff.

Sincerely
Kimbra Livingston

Dear Jann,
We were so shocked to read of Scot's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your boys. We always enjoyed Scot's company and Golden Retriever stories.

Jann, I had been thinking of you lately as our son and his family live in Ada. We travel your way from Grand Haven and I always would wonder how you were doing. Never expected to read this news and my heart breaks for you and yours.

God's Blessings to you and yours at this most difficult time.

Scot was a teammate of mine on the Neenah Rockets. We became great friends. He was the reason I followed him to Stevens Point where we were college roommates. Those were good times filled with fond memories. I can't imagine how my life would be if I hadn't shared that time in Point with Scot. He shaped my destiny. I will always be grateful for that. My heart goes out to you Jann. We lost a great man.
