While visiting my parents at the CRH, I would see your dad walking in the halls. Every time I greeted him he would get that little smile and nod. Seeing him brought back the memories of the friendships we had at Richmond Ref Church. Praying that each of you will know God's comfort and peace.

I was privileged to meet Mr. Brookens while working at both Plainfield and Alpine Townships. Though our contacts were always professional ones, he was always such a gentleman, so polite, so loving when speaking of his wife, and truly a class act. The world would be a much better place if there were more people like him. He will be missed but his memory will live on. May he rest in peace.

I have so many wonderful memories of our times together with Nor and Loie. Didn't see him much after Loie passed. Lost my husband, Harry, 2 1/2 years ago and my daughter 6 months ago. Don't get out that much any more. Living at Sunset the last 7 years. Praying for all of you in your loss.
