DUNN Hilton (Hilly) 13/04/1938 - 28/12/2019 Dear Dad / Hilly / Pardy, to so many. All my friends called you Pardy. You adopted and accepted everyone into our crazy family including Rasa, Carla & Cecile, all overseas. You made it clear you weren't too happy when Lance whisked away your only daughter at seventeen years of age, however (40 plus years later), he worked out ok! Phew!!! You showed your love and support in the practically perfect way by getting in and getting the job done, big or small with your helpmate, Mum, by your side. Even in your last week before you went to hospital you were there helping me make a clothesline for Dal so her washing would be protected under the eaves. You showed more of your love by becoming very teary in the last few months as you didn't want to leave us. You wore your heart on your sleeve as all your love poured out in our times together towards us and all our extended family and friends who came to visit you. This alone was a testament to you. Determined, proud and strong as a Cedar on the outside and emotional, warm and soft on the inside. You never showed any fear as you knew you were going home to rest in Heaven with God and to join the numerous other family and friends that have gone before. You leave a huge, gaping hole in our hearts and lives, Dad, however our love knows no bounds, Forever in our hearts. Glennys, your devoted daughter, & Lance, grandchildren, Dallys-Krystian, Ryan, Courtney, Maddison; and partners, Justin, Brad & Merrik; and great grandchildren Arielle-Taimanii, Angelina-Aroha & Alliyrá-Aramoana & bubba due around your birthday!
