To all the Laurent children,
I was so saddened to read of your mother’s passing. I have very fond memories of your family from many years ago on Elmore St., I believe our parents were good friends. My mom and dad were Don and Loraine Clancy ( two blocks other side of Gray) and my mom is still with us, 101 in April. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Maureen Clancy Cotter

We are so sorry you have to say goodbye to someone so special. We have heard such loving stories by Laurie and Jacquie. We hope that each memory and each tear or moment of laughter will bring this time of sorrow closer to a lifetime of healing. You are in our thoughts and our prayers daily.

Rick, David, Mary and Laurie, I was so saddened when I saw the obituary on your mom. I suspect you all are saddened by mom's death and are experiencing a huge empty spot in your hearts. I'm sure you know no one and nothing will ever fill that empty spot reserved just for mom. The last time I spoke with Rick, he told me mom was still living at home. That in itself was a huge accomplishment. We all know she was a good, kind lady, yet, as I recall, she did make you kids toe the mark. I remember so well she was a good friend to my mom, gabbing as they would, going out for lunch with that special group. I also remember the day of my ordination when she got up in front of a Cathedral filled with people and advocated for my ordination. That took guts, to say the least, and I will always be grateful for her willingness to do that. I will certainly continue to keep you all in prayer. Take care and stay healthy.
