You were my friend when you were in the desert. Mayor of thousand palms David Young

I had the pleasure of Craig's unconditional friendship since we served together in the U.S. Army attached to the third infantry division in a LRSU unit in 1985. Craig was a super guy that had a passion for the outdoors, complicated timepieces, knifes, unique items, music, animals, snakes and other creepy crawlies, but most of all his country, friends and of course his love for his family first. Craig had an iron will, was adventurous and had a fearless heart. He was known as a man of his word, a top notch soldier with numerous achievement awards well deserved, that was always willing to take on any task, any time, anywhere. Craig and I left the service together, we came to California together and worked together before finding different work paths that suited our desire and started families of our own, but always remained friends. Craig had always wanted to live on a boat and travel. Craig was godfather to my son Thomas. I hope you can read this from heaven Craig, I love you brother, I miss you, you're always in my prayers, hoowa!
