Harold was so instrumental in leading the way to keep the Southwest Branch Library open and he won the fight; thank goodness for that; it's one of only a few true neighborhood libraries left.

To Gerrie, Ross, and family... I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Harold, such a good and decent man. I remember so many conversations we had together. He gave me great advice and was kind all the time. We have many mutual acquaintances and not a single person has ever said a negative word about him. He will be missed!

Harold was the nicest man. He not only seemed to always have a lot of energy (the positive kind) but also was willing to share it. He truly was a light in the darkness. I will always be thankful that his path crossed with mine.
