I became very good friends with Paul my senior year. He was a nice, considerate, and fun person. We spent many hours trying to figure out life. I am not surprised that he became involved in animal rescue--he was a kind man. I also enjoyed his gentle sense of humor. I will miss him, and send my sympathies to his family.

Sincerely

Phil Smith, Omaha, NE

Paul and Kathy were my greyhound Gracie's foster parents and gave her such a wonderful start to her new life! We lived too far away from each other, but I always enjoyed meeting up at the Gala and keeping in touch. Here's a photo of Gracie with her foster dad. We'll always remember the light he shed on the world. Kathy, I've made a donation to HeartBound as a small memoriam. Take care, sending you love and hugs.

Kathy, I am so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. I taught math with Paul for many years at NWTC. He was a great teacher who cared very much about his students and their success. Paul talked a lot about his dogs and I admire and appreciate the work he did with dog rescue. He will be missed!

Kathy, we were so saddened to hear of Paul's passing. We were not aware of his illness and cannot imagine the tough road you and Paul traveled this year.

Our memories of Paul as a neighbor who adored his wife and dogs and my memories of Paul from Schreiber Foods and NWTC as a caring, helpful coworker will always be remembered. He was clearly a man of integrity and compassion for others.

Please accept our sincere condolences,

Joan and Paul Splawski
