My sympathy to the family on the passing of your mother. Daisy was a most wonderful lady. I knew both her and John. She was one my Eucharistic ministers at St. Vincent Hospital for years. A very devout Catholic; yet a spark plug. When I moved up north, they came to visit. She was pure delight. The world has lost a good Christian lady. Know that she is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior and is resting comfortably.

A few things come quickly to mind when I think of Aunt Daisy: Way back when at home on Chicago Street, she used to make a fabulous baked rice pudding in a large yellow bowl. She would also go to people's houses to set their hair. She loved to sing "Que Sera Sera". She had a good sense of humor. And, she was a devout Catholic who delivered Holy Communion to the home bound.

Aunt Daisy will be missed. May she Rest In Peace.
