June Herr
Abrams - June Marie Herr, 77, of Abrams, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Woodland Villages, Gillett. June was born June 6, 1940 to the late George and Mary (Fox) Byng. She married Norbert Herr on November 7, 1959. June worked at the Riverside Nursing Home for over twenty seven years. June enjoyed dancing and helped with many dances at the Abrams Fire Department. She is a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Sobieski.
June is survived by her husband Norbert Herr, Abrams; two sons, Mark (Stephanie) Herr, Oconto Falls; Christopher (Sara) Herr, Ashwabenon; two sisters, Judy (John) Bakran, Abrams; Mary Jane "DeeDee" Halada, Seymour; sister-in-law, Grace Kaminski, Suamico; four grandchildren, Colton, Melina, Cooper, Berritt; and her pet dog Diago. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Herr; three sisters, Lillian Ferdon, Sally Herr, Charlotte Machurick; three brothers, Sam, Wally and George Byng; and a brother-in-law, Tom Halada.
The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Sobieski, from 9 to 11 AM Monday, December 18, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Monday at the church with Fr. Antonio De Los Santos officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
