Roger Gorzelanczyk

Green Bay - Roger J. Gorzelanczyk, 68, passed away in the comfort of his own home on April 13, 2021, after a long bout with cancer. He was born in Green Bay on April 28, 1952, to the late Clement and Helen (Schkeryantz) Gorzelanczyk. For many years Roger worked as an operations supervisor at UWGB. Roger loved watching sports, especially the college games. He was in several Fantasy Leagues, where he acquired the name "The Swami." In his younger years Roger enjoyed golfing and later years it was fishing. He could also be found having fun at the blackjack tables or on the slot machines.

Roger is deeply missed by his brother, Doug (Kathy) Gorzelanczyk; nephews, Shel (Sherri) Gorzelanczyk and Shea (Melissa) Gorzelanczyk; great nephews and nieces, Avery (Jordan), Athena, Owen, Bryce, Brock and Cali; special friend, Karen LeCapitaine; and many other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by an infant sister, Delores.

Per Roger's request a private gathering will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.

Roger's family would like to thank Ron, Turk and Hammer for their loyal friendship over the years. In addition, thanks go out to the kind and caring members of Aurora who treated Roger.
