Dorothy Rosik
Denmark - Dorothy A. Rosik, 88, Denmark, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017. The daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (Hilke) Sipiorski was born March 29, 1929. She attended Pine Grove School. On August 28, 1948, she married Ernest Rosik. Some of the various jobs she held during her years of employment was an elevator attendant at Northland Hotel, and at Woolworths Dime Store. She also was a homemaker at the family home. Some of her hobbies included, flowers, gardening, sewing and bird watching. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, and was a member of the Christian Ladies.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest; fours sons: Richard (Sharon) Rosik, Denmark; Arnold (Sandra) Rosik, Crivitz; Dan (Rose) Rosik, Denmark; Carl (Chris) Rosik, Casco; daughter, Sharon Van De Hei, Green Bay; 14 grandchildren: Alicia and Marissa Rosik; Trista Rosik (Allen Kee); Brenda (Troy) Heinz; Brian (Diana) Rosik; Breanna Rosik; Jamie (Robert) Rhodes; Joseph, Cassandra, Courtney, and Tyler Rosik; James Van De Hei; Jenna (Ryan) Zimdars; Jessie (Marshal) Nooyen; 14 great-grandchildren: Aubrey and Landen Kee; Melani and Quinton Rosik; Cole, Eliza, and Reed Heinz; Carson and Riley Rosik; Kylie Rosik; Adler Van De Hei; Eleanor Zimdars; Tanner and Tucker Nooyen; brother, Clem Sipiorski; sister, Audrey Rentmeester; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Sipiorski; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: Felix (Wanda) Sipiorski; John (Clara) Sipiorski; Martin (Bernice) Sipiorski; Frank Sipiorski; sister-in-law, Joyce Sipiorski; four sisters: Margaret (George) Micolichek; Gertrude (Bernard) Thompson, Julia (Lloyd) Apel; Angeline Sipiorski; brother-in-law, Mike Rentmeester.
Family and friends may visit at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd, Green Bay, on Monday, December 18, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Dan Viertel officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Pine Grove Cemetery.
