I am deeply saddened to learn of Bill's passing. We have exchanged details of family history over many years and met up in Cornwall on a couple of occasions. My condolences to the family.

I am now 63 and have lived in Arizona now for 22 yrs. Mr. Symons was my teacher in the 6th grade at Black Creek Grade School, he was my favorite teacher. Just a few days ago I needed a new security pass code for my cc and I choose Mr Symons as my code word...and now sadly I read of his passing. I often wondered where he lived or whatever happened to him. I was glad to see one of my classmates posted his obit on Facebook, or I wouldn't have known of his passing. William Symons, you were a cool teacher in my day, thanks for the fond memories of playing music for us! Bonnie Miller Roberts

Dear Heather, Michele, and Will,

My deepest condolences to your family. I got to know Bill while growing up in DePere. He was a good friend of my brother, Jerry Brunette and became a great friend of our whole family! So many wonderful memories. He attended both of my children's weddings. He would leave his car at our home in minn. while vacationing in Europe. We enjoyed playing cribbage together. I still can't believe it! He will be missed dearly!
