Dear Frances and Family,

I am deeply saddened to hear of Monique's passing. I remember when the two of you were members of our Guam Family Community Leadership program at the University of Guam in the early 1990's. Both you and Monique brought joy and inspiration to the rest of the Guam FCL team and were and still are leaders of our Guam community.

I was always impressed with how great a mother/daughter team you and Monique were! May Our Lord comfort you and help you find peace in the days ahead. Monique was truly a remarkable and intelligent young lady.

Yours in sympathy and prayers,
Carmen L. G. Pearson, Ed.D.

Frances and Tony and Families: Our condolences and prayers for your loss of Monique. She sure was a beautiful person and have read the most wonderful things about her. I never met her, but wish we did. We left Guam in 1979, but Frances we knew you and family when you lived in So. City (we in Oakland) when we were teenagers. Tony, we're 1st cousins (our mom's were sisters) and we've all lost touch. Our mom passed away Aug. 2008, so she and Monique are watching over us all. My stepdad, Don Brown, said he went to the rosary at your sister's house in CA. and spoke with you, Frances. Sorry to hear of your loss and to such a beautiful soul. Our prayers have been said often and will continue.
