I was reading the Guest Book for your son Algernon, and I was deeply moved. I am a mother and a grandmother, but I have never experienced the loss of a child. I can remember my father saying, when my baby brother died, that there is nothing that can compare to losing a child!

I have been in the Ministry since 1979, and have dealt with death on several occasions. It never gets easier, just bearable because of Christ! To know that Algernon "...will never know pain and suffering again"....! To know that God "...has wiped away all tears from his eyes..." in cause to rejoice!

In 2004 God blessed me with a "personalized" tape ministry for our troops. I consider it an "honor" to do what I do. As I always say, there are not enough hours in a day or ways to say "thank you" for all the sacrifices! To know that he has a Purple Heart is awsome! I dodn't know Algernon, but if I did, he would have been one of mind.

I will FOREVER "Salute" Pvt Algernon Adams!

I am trusting God to restore joy and peace in your family. Life at its longest is short, and we must thank God for the time that he shared Algernon with you.

May the Angels of God be forever encamped around you, Lisa and all of your loved ones protecting you from seen and unseen danger. All of your tomorrows are in God's hands!

I remember going to elementary school with Algee and how he would always have candy to share with others. He was very giving to others and he will be missed. God bless his family and pray for them at this time of need. Thank God for the time Algee was on earth.

Mommy Brown, I can remember the day our family met Dedrey and Algee in '73. We would play outside for hours, and walk to the 7-Eleven on Rozier Road to get real 1 cent candy during the summer. Algee was popular and fun to hang out with. It's nice to remember playing on the "slip-n- slide" in the back yard or watching Gilligan's Island in your kitchen. I'm so glad my sisters and our family knew you all and grew up with Algee and Dedrey in our little corner of the world. You're good people, and I know that your love for one another will sustain you--along with God's love. Peace.
