Psalms 46:9
He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth.
The bow he breaks apart and does cut the spear in pieces;
The wagons he burns in the fire. What a joyful day that the earth looks forwards to.

It has truly been my honor to sign Brandon's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Brandon will always be remembered in my home.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Adams Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who strive to send handmade prayer shawls and/ or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one in service to our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, PA would like to honor your son's sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a shawl which we will mail to you. If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected] with the names and addresses and what they would like to receive. We will send them as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved one who died serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address, as our organization can no longer get family contacts through the military. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Lynne

Dear Brave Sgt. Brandon E. Adams,

Please accept your country's gratitude for the brave young man you were. You answered the call to arms and you did your job without question. And now you rest in God's Kingdom, never more to know the horrors of war you faced with such courage. Sleep well dear son of parents who, like all of us, hold you forever in their hearts. Think of us who you've had to leave behind and know that you have made your country a better place for having walked among us.
September 19, 2008
Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you laughing as you used to do,
Yet loving all the things I think of you;
And knowing you are happy, should I grieve?
You follow and are watchful where I go.”

(Written by Marian Allen during World War l )

Two lines that I wish you to keep near your heart…….

“You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe”

I did not know Brandon, but I am remembering
his service. He is my hero. !

The Other Side

i'm over on the other side
where life and death softly divide.
left my skin and bones behind
now i'm over on the other side.

can you feel me there with you?
my breath is gone but i'm not through.
loved you then and i still do
from over on the other side.

i can fly. really fly.
below the earth ... all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

it's good here on the other side.
the sweetest songs...the bluest skies.
thank you for the tears you cried
but it's good here on the other side.

i can fly. really fly. below the earth...all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side

the world is smaller than a needle's eye.
where life and death softly divide.
when you leave your skin and bones behind
i'll be waiting on the other side.

i can fly. really fly. below the earth ... all through the sky.
go tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

Each Reader is given a page of 50 names - first name, middle initial, last name, date of death and home state. After each name a bell will toll. Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I want to express my sympathy to you and I hope that you are able to cope during this time of grief. I know that it is a difficult time you all have to go through but in the Bible it gives us hope that soon Jehovah would make wars to cease and that he yearns to bring back those that have been taken away by death. So imagine living in a world where it would be warfree and everyone would be living as one united family.

If this person can stand in battle to ensure my freedom, then I will stand in grief with his/her family to honor him/her. For every fallen HERO there is a bright star that shines in the evening sky to remind us of the cherished gift we were given – even if for too short a time.
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courageous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guest book for the rest of my life, but I promised LE RON A. WILSON (a dear friend KIA 7/6/07, 18yrs old) that neither he nor any like him would be forgotten and so I will continue until the day there is no longer the need.

We can't imagine what you have been going through since being notified of the death of your young Warrior. The Military and families all over the USA and world are grieving with you and praying for you. What a very brave individual you have in your family that would give up a life for their homeland and its people so they can remain free. Your Freedom Fighter has served the Country above and beyond the call of duty, let no one ever tell you different. With the mission now completed your Warrior has been redeployed to Heaven to sit on the right hand of the Supreme Commander and Chief. The Father above has Brandon in his arms and will give him peace as well as eventually easing your pain and suffering. God speed to you and Sgt. Brandon E. Adams, our HERO. We are so proud of them that are willing to sacrifice for this great Nation, THANK YOU.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My son Sgt Dale T. Lloyd served with Brandon in Iraq. He was also with whe 10th Mountain division and wrestled and liked hiking. Dale lost his life in a mortar attack along with Pfc Charles C. Persing on July 19, 2004. When Captain Duplesses, Sgt Saupp, his wife, Sgt Leslie and another soldier were on their way back to Fort Drum from paying their respects to Brandon they were passing close to where I live and invited me to join them for dinner and that is when I was told that Brandon passed away. I truely know how deep the hurt is that you bear. I thank Brandon for his sacrifice and take great pride in what he, Dale, Charles, and many others have given. I have met many of those that served with our sons and still stay in contact with some of them. Our sons served with the best and they feel the same pain that we do. God bless your family, Dick Lloyd

Dear Adams Family,
I wanted to share my story for the world to see... I went to Fort Leonardwood to see my son graduate bootcamp, during our visit I bought a fallen hero brass bracelet and it was Sgt. Brandon Adams, I could not wait to get home to find out about my soldier,as soon as I got home I was on the internet searching for his information, much to my surprise his family didnt live far from me and as well his father worked even closer, What are the chances??? from Missouri to Pennslyvania this bracelet had traveled so I felt compelled to return at least part of him to his family, I dont know Brandon personally but if he is anything like his family He WAS MORE than a good soldier HE WAS A WONDERFUL MAN, His family I am sure still miss him badly everyday but hopefully I gave them a little bit back that no one else can have.
My Heartfelt Condolences to the Adams Family. Thank You So Much Brandon, you are among the bravest now.
