Today the world is remembering the 11th of the 9th 2001. While I remember the moments of the day as seen through the eyes of the television camera, I also remember Arthur Barry. We had never met but I soon learned a lot about Arthur... because Arthur became a hero in my eyes that day, a fallen hero. To his family, his friends and all those who knew and loved him I send my deepest sympathy. For 20 years they have lived with only his memory. In my part of the world we remember Arthur because of a small green card with his name printed on it, along with details of his service as a New York City Firefighter. Thank you for your service Arthur. Requiesce In Pace.

Nerer forgotten buddy. I am still telling stories about your advetures, people think I am making them up! I am looking at my Jeremy's sticker, with your favoriate saying on it, as I write this. You lived a lot of life in 35 years, more than most people do in a lifetime. Love you and miss you.

Remembering Arthur on the 20th anniversary of 9/11....
September 11, 2020
It's been 19 years since 2001. And for each of those 19 years I have been honored to carry the name of Arthur T Barry on a card in my wallet. The card is somewhat the worse for wear as I try to share it with as many people as possible - to remind them - to ensure they will never forget the heroes that were born and died on 9/11. Arthur is my personal hero and today I remember him. We never met but I will forever honor his sacrifice on this date 19 years ago.
