Sorry to hear about Gene Sharp,his intentions of non violence is so rewarding,May his family and friends take comfort that The Heavenly Father made a promise that He will bring about peace on his earth

Privileged to have been his student! Was missing him this year and thinking on and off of calling to say hello! He once brought his baby Great Danes to class at Southeastern Massachusetts University! He encouraged his students to think critically and to write effectively! Having had the privilege to spend some time with Gene remains one of the great treasures in my life. Gene was one of the few professors that had a profound effect on me when I was a student at U-Mass Boston. Resistance, Rebellion and Revolution. I still have the copy of his work that he gave all of us in the class. I was honored to remain friends with him for many years. Truly a person for the ages. My sympathies.
