When I first met Mack, that is what we called him when he was at his first duty station at Camp Johnson in North Carolina. We were inseparable. He often spoke about his family and about music. Back then my passion was playing basketball and despite Mack did not play a lot he also participated. He was that kind of guy that was determine to master basketball just like everything in life. He did.
Mack and I paths re-unite once again when I returned from Dessert Shield Dessert Storm. When I checked back into MTMCo, 2dMaintanence Battalion, who did I see in formation, Mack. We did everything together as if we never separated. I recall meeting his aunt in Kinston, NC. I believe she owned her own beauty salon. Mack was genuine, positive and an awesome Man. Mack was so knowledgably about vehicle repairs. He often tutored and help us non-mechanical people like myself in vehicle repairs. A phenomenal man and great Marine. I miss my Brother.

Another year that you are not here...this world is much less without you. Thinking of you and the family during this day and every other.
