I don't know what to say except that truly great men don't usually see themselves as such. From what little I've learned about Richard Winters he belongs in this class of men. If not for men like these where would me be? Jeff Epsaro, Eau Claire WI

He is a true hero to all of us and especially to the men who served under him that he led in battle and the ones that were able to return home to their families and go on with their lives with the knowledge that they served with heroes like Dick Winters. Keep his memory alive with generations that he was able to help by leading his men so that they were able to return home and raise families so that they could go forward with their lives and raise generations because of a true HERO life Major Dick Winters. He deserved the Medal of Honor.
