I think of you often, and I try to honor you by sharing your story as often as I can. I do my best to try and make sure your life and story is heard whenever I get notice of a public speaking about it. I hope I do you proud. Mostly... I think of HOW our friendship began. It always makes me laugh. I miss you, and Im proud and honored to have known you. I take joy in the man you became before you were taken from this Earth. Lastly, I take comfort in knowing that you did not die in vain. You died with honor.

RIP Sergio.
Gone, but never forgotten.

Its the dawn of the day I think about you most and rereading these entries word for word is less of a bittsweet ritual and more of a celebration of the Legacy you left behind by touching the hearts and lives of so many.

Rest easy and know everything is everything.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Abad Family know that we just made a small donation to the Landstuhl Hospital Care Project in honor of Sergio S. Abad US Army Specialist. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family
