Our Postman for years. Ran into him many times after he retired. He never forgot me and I never forgot him. Very special man. Sincere condolenses.

Brother Justin WrightA true historic Pascagoula Icon. For those of us who had any connection to the Black Catholic Community of Pascagoula Mississippi cannot forget the name of Justin Leon Wright or the entire Wright family. I wonder how many folks were inspired by Justin's dedication to service. Service to country, community, church and to mankind. When reading his valedictory you cannot help to think this was one of Pascagoula's and St Peter's Catholic parish finest. After spending 30 years in uniform I cannot help to think that Justin was one of my early childhood inspiration. He wore that neat USPS Helmet/Uniform and I am sure that USN Sailor Cap and those Whites was just as neat, clean cut and sharp as he was even with those signature muttonchops'. There is no doubt Justin Leon Wright inspired me to articulate my speech from a teenager to this day. Both Justin and his father had voices and smiles sent from Heaven. What a Voice! Conversely, I have never heard of anyone in Pascagoula who is or still waiting on a letter or package on Justin's route. Although you have left us here on earth with an abundance of beautiful memories of bus rides, bazaars, fairs and GUMBO. Now it is God, the Angles and your Mother and Father and others who are enjoying your heavenly company. FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS As the Flag and your final salute is rendered amid the oaks, pines, magnolias and the bayou breeze on Saturday--Brother Justin, May God Bless your family and may your soul and all the souls of all the faithful departed rest in Peace. Amen! Roland Fisher, St Peter's circa 1954.
