Charlie was a friend and Mentor to me. I met Charlie in 1972 and we stayed in contact through the years. His passing presents a tremendous loss to me; like a part of me is gone. My prayers go out to all his family and those who knew him. He was a tremendous man.

I remember Charlie and my father going some Saturdays to Notre Dame for football games. Maybe with the two of them they can convince God to give us a National Championship. Dad coached the softball team that Charlie sponsored and many times presented Charlie with tournament trophies. I am so sorry for your loss. Karen Cain-Molden
