I've just found out about your mom's passing. My sympathies on the loss of Auntie Anne'. I'll always remember your dad's gumdrop tree that only he could ever see, and the huge Easter spread your mom put on. I'm sorry to have missed Auntie Anne's funeral but my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

She is a fine, industrious lady with a wonderful sense of humor.
If we find out that there is a "doll show" in the hereafter, we'll know who is running it.
Our loss, Heaven's gain.

I remember your Mom and how she tried to make frosting roses for the cakes. She fussed and fused and said that if I made some she would freeze them and just take them off her cakes and put them back in the freezer. Pretty clever. It gave her joy to make a cake and put roses on it.
She knew so much about town and was fun to listen to her talk history.
Please accept my thanks for sharing her with me and know that I will always remember her as a kind person.
Blessings to you and your families,
Alison and Louis Palshaw, Amston

To Anne's family: So sorry for your loss. Although I had not seen her in some time, I do recall when she was active in both the historical society and with the doll shows. She always had a smile on her face, and was always willing to chat with her friends. She was a good friend of my late mother, Viola Warner. On the heels of losing Warren Holbrook just last week, Amston has lost two pillars of the community. God Bless!
