Brenda was a class act. She made dinner for my family (of 6!) last year when I broke my leg. We will never forget her service. We will miss you Brenda!!

I know Brenda from church! I want to say she was such an awesome teacher! I remember her doing sharing time in Primary way back when. She was such a giving person! She will be missed!

My condolences for your loss. I know this is a difficult time of sorrow and pain, and words cannot truly express how you feel. But please take comfort in what is recorded at PSALMS 145:19 tells us, that God hears your cries for help and He will save you.

I've known Brenda since the mid-1980s. To be with her was to feel unconditional love and acceptance. She was an extraordinary teacher, putting tremendous effort and thought into every lesson she taught. Her lessons will be with me forever. I am not referring to classroom lessons. I mean how to live. How to give to others. She enjoyed friends and family with gusto! No holding back. She got involved, helping the blind, she did not pity them, she stood up for them and spent time and effort to help them experience life fully. Even when her health declined, she was still up for fun. Whether to search for the perfect lobster roll or to watch a UCONN Huskies Women basketball game...and we had plans to GO to games this year. There are innumerable memories, but how about this? Four of us go to Shady Glen, three of us order their world-famous cheeseburgers. Brenda orders a tuna fish sandwich and lets us tease her for it. She laughed with us, enjoying all of the ribbing while she enjoyed every bit of her sandwich. How can I laugh and cry at the same time? Because I miss her and love her...and will forever.
